BioWelcome to my journal! My name is Melissa Dawn, and I'm a twenty five year old fantasy artist living in the Pacific Northwest, USA. I paint fairies, angels, and other winged creatures- hence my website name, SpellboundWings.com! I've only been painting since the summer of 2006, but from the start it's been more than just a hobby or a passion. Here in my Livejournal I share works in progress (WIPs) of current paintings, finished paintings, and noteworthy art updates. Actually, I should probably do more of all of the above! I tend to babble a lot about my everyday life here, which hopefully won't bore you too much. Most of my adventures happen in my paintings... which, I've come to discover in my "old" age (haha), I'm just fine with!
